What a terrible thought ! I use my boat so little that I forgot if I had put oil in the last tank full. I remember putting sea foam in my last fill up. I can't imagine I would have forgotten the oil......but I have second guessed myself.

Does the ball on a external tank have to be hard all the time while running? I have to pump it up ever so often. I let it go for a while and the motor slow until I pump up the ball. Is there a way to check if it is a fuel pump problem or a tank problem? The tank is plastic. I really don't know...
I purchased a 92 Johnson 40 VRO. Disconnected the VRO and run 50:1 via local dealer. This motor won't start. It wants to but it won't idle. If I push the plunger and keep it revved I can get it going. It runs great at slow and faster speeds. It just wont start and idle. I suspect carbs. Looking...
