i have a mercury 700 , it runs great out off water i can rev it up an no skipping but when i put it in water an start to take off the motor acts like its bogging down ,im wondering if anybody can help
on my mecury 700 thunderbolt as i loosen the 5/8 nutts locatedon each side of the exhausthousing the lower unit starts to drop . as i loosen them more the unit doesnt move anymore .i tried appling pressure even beat on it , what could be jamin it?
i have 1978 mecury 700 thunderbolt ,the water impellor needs replacing but the lower unit wont drop but about 1/4 inch, i relize u have to loosen the top bolts a litte at a time
