    Block repairs

    Hi, I have a Volvo 4.3L. The block where the top starter motor screw should go into has completely come away. I've been told that welding might do it but I'm not so sure. What is the best way to sort this? Thanks in advance Dave

    Volva transom shield replacement

    Hi, I just bought a 96 Larson with a 4.3L V6 inboard/outboard. Second time on the lake the boat started filling up with water which almost sank the boat. I've taken it to a dealer who says the transom shield needs replacing and it is 8 to 12 hour job. I haven't got any pictures at present but...
