Hi,
I just bought a 96 Larson with a 4.3L V6 inboard/outboard. Second time on the lake the boat started filling up with water which almost sank the boat.
I've taken it to a dealer who says the transom shield needs replacing and it is 8 to 12 hour job.
I haven't got any pictures at present but can this kind of thing actually happen and is there any way to avoid a huge bill to get it sorted?
