    Gas leak on 25 HP Merc

    1987 25 HP Merc, leaks gas out of a small hole of a cover on the port side of the fuel bowel, this is item #9 of the carburetor exploded view. The gas also leaks out when the motor is tilled up. Is this normal or does the carb need to be rebuilt? The motoer starts and runs fine.

    I have a 25 HP Merc serial #OB22930 that starts and runs good but when you push in the choke gas squirts out of the right side(looking at the motor) of the fuel pump(I think it's the fuel pump) from a small hole and when you tip the motor up it also leaks gas at that time. Any help being...
