    Spent another day on the 'ol mud hole. Blue skies and 80*. Just me the admiral and the dog...perfect. that's the famous Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes Nat'l Lakeshore at the end of little Glen Lake.

    that's the handels of the post hole digger. 55 inches deep. Stuck 8" tubes down both hole and filled with crete... place a 1/2" anchor bolt in them. hope the gub'ment does not come to check cause the pics with the tape measure showing depth did not save for some reason. Reminds me how much...

    Also known as a peak reading voltmeter. Analog is best for these tests as the digital jump all over the place. Steven's model cd-77 is one the manuals reccomend. There are others. Ignore the ac/DC scratches. This one came from a garage sale as "broken" for $5. Apparently they did not know...

    Anyone know of any other yards not in the sticky that might have a 2.0 or 2.5 l offshore midsection, 20". Freshwater country would be best obviously but looking for any clean one. mods, this is not intended to be a solicitation. Really just looking for the yards that might not be in sticky...

    '06 duramax charging system

    Does the computer tell the regulator when to charge? Is there a way to fill field the alternator as a test? Anyone know of a good site for information? I really dont want to just guess on this. I have a sneaky suspicion that this charging system is computer controlled.

    Spark is tested with a tester, not a plug. We don't care what color the plugs are...we care how far a spark will jump.
