So, what did you do today?

When I was 16 I would do anything for gas money. I cant find anyone who will stack wood. Even went as high as $15/rick $100minimum. What is it with the kids today...I keep thinking I wish I had made some but maybe not as they dont seem to have the same pride and work ethic as we did...

2006 chevy 2500 anti locks question.

the 2006 diesel chevy has a new issue, you hit the brakes and only if all the anti locks kick in the pedal sucks down to the floor and wont release til the truck stops...usually after spinning a 180...FML. I just replaced all the brake lines so I wonder if I got one in the wrong port of the...

So, what did you do today?

this is the beast. It keeps the 42x60x14 foot ceilings Morton building at 70 even when it was 29 below outside. if I dont burn ash wood (go-fer wood) I only need about 16 rick for the season. With the abundance of ash due to the emerald ash borer we go through 25 or so. The ash is just over...

    Prop seal puller w/o disassembly

At some point in my career I saw a tool for removing prop seals from salt boats that you didnt want to disassemble. It was a tube that went over prop shaft and had a hook that would supposedly get the seals out. Any one remember or have a link? I think it was a merc tool but may have been a...

So, what did you do today?

well, it's back on its feet...approved by Jake the shop dog. Ended up having to put new rear brakes on it as well. Calipers, rotors, and pads. I left the e brakes in...I might regret that. Worst design ever.

So, what did you do today?

fun stuff, brake lines on the '06 3/4 ton diesel. Brakes blew backing a steel trailer for a 34'er into a deep, steep ramp. Luckily it didnt go swimming. Last thing I want to do during winterizing season is brake lines on a rusty tow vehicle...feel my pain!

So, what did you do today?

Had our annual labor day weekend party on the sandbar. Put the grill on the barge and cooked for many folks. 40 burgers...72 brats... 6 racks of pork ribs (I smoked these on shore and took them out). Countless plates of deserts and cookies and fruits...A good time was had by all. Hoping...

So, what did you do today?

Today's project: remove all the plow harness and mounts, reinstall the airbag bar. Then take all the takeoffs, buy adaptors and such and install on a 2001 chevy...fun stuff. All this work will allow the neighbor to have a lot nicer more reliable plow truck. We all have looong driveways (1/4...
