    I have the Gen 1 outdrive, will it mount to the newer coupler? I am already going to have to get a new flywheel starter and coupler, id like to keep the outdrive, is it possible, it sure looks the same?

    Alpha One shift shaft

    I took off alpha one LU for a impeller change and now it will only go in forward if it's facing the 1 o'clock position. No matter what I do it will not line up straight. It's on an 86 Mercruiser 5.7. Is it possible that the intermediate shift shaft is bent? It looks nice and straight.

    So when I first got the boat all gauges and switches worked. I pulled motor out, put new one in, now my gauges still work but my horn, blower, bilge, lights etc., do not work at all. Are they all on one fuse or share a common hot or ground? Maybe I forgotten to hook something up?
