    Troubleshooting Briggs Fuel Pump Install

Ok, so a neighbour wanted this pump installed on his motor. I agreed. It is not labelled as far as inlet, outlet and pulse. I guessed, wrongly I think, that the lone nipple was pulse, the one on bottom of pic was the inlet, and the remaining nipple the outlet. Any ideas about this thing...

    Special Tool for Carb rebuild?

Re: Special Tool for Carb rebuild? You are likely referring to the tool for the high speed jet/orifice. It can be purchased from a dealer, around 20 bucks, or you can make your own if you have a suitable screwdriver to make it from. The following is F_R's picture and dimensions.

    Restoring a Johnson CD-12, 1955 5-1/2

Re: Restoring a Johnson CD-12, 1955 5-1/2 What is the compression? I personally would not bother rebuilding it unless it truly needs it They are fairly simple motors, so the tune up should be no problem. Any problems let us know, and keep us updated!

    New Speeditwin Cottage Racer

Just Picked this up tonight. Came with a bunch of Michigan brass props, spare prop shafts, gears, etc... Look at the size of the fuel line, seller ran it on a Sea Flea in the 50s and ran Alcohol in it. No tiller, hence the home made brackets for the cable system. Should be fun to run this...
