    Rule 1000 has some sort of electronic sensor that pulses on every so often to check for water accumulation.very unreliable, had one and did not like it at all. failed after about a year.Dont think they make them any longer.Charlie

    Oh ok.It looks like a small thin key .Hole in one end and not quite a wrench end on the other side.approx 1/2 of my finger length.It was taped to a card which has authorized "RITCHIE" dealers listed so I assume something to do with a compass???

    woodruff keys in this application are supposed to be tough to apply and tougher to remove. If yours "fell out" it either was incorrect woodruff key or not installed properly.

    Did you service the impeller??? sounds like that could have been done incorrectly.Put the lower on a bench and see if the prop turns when in gear. it should turn easily.If not then work backwards and remove the water pump cover and impeller..Charlie

    For a quick answer on the batteries run your engine compartment lift while the motors are are running and that should give you a good clue. I would run the motor on each battery separately and see if the compartment lift acts differently.Charlie
