    I threw the TKS carburetor in the garbage. I put an electric choke carbon and it runs fantastic! Anybody that ask any questions about a TKS carburetor, I would suggest telling them the same thing, throw it in the garbage!

    Happened again yesterday. Ran it hard for 30 minutes, ran great. Stopped for a few hours ,ran it hard for another 30 minutes. Idled, 5 mph for about 10 minutes, gunned it, it bogged and popped. Got it to go 25 mph. Tried gunning it and it popped and bogged.

    I ran hard for 30 minutes straight on intercoastal, stopped for about two hours. Ran back about 35 mph for 30 minutes. Sometimes throttling down for wakes. Idled through channel for 10 minutes.     I'm also going to change out the Anti- syphon valve, maybe the coil. Eventually I'll find the problem.

    I just had it rebuilt last week. I'm going to drain the tank, new Filter, then try again. If it still faulters at idle I'll rebuild again.

    Clean it with what? I'm going to drain the tank and put a new Fuel,water filter on it too.

    I think I'll pump out the tank, run an auxiliary tank test and take it from there.

    How about the Anti- siphon valve? Maybe I should just get that replaced too?

    Shouldn't I replace the fuel/ water separator first, empty the tank, fill it with non ethanol THEN rebuild the carb?

    I just ran the boat and open the gas cap and listen for any air I did not hear any.

    I found that there are minority of mechanics out there that say don't use seafoam. But the majority of people in mechanics out there say it works great. I've used it my other boats and it cleaned them right up and made them run smooth as a kitten. So I don't know what to do regarding the sea...

    I think one of the smart things for me to do is put in a new fuel water separator because I don't know when the last time it was changed. Am I right to think that if there's water in that getting into the carb it's going to act that way?
