    Set back kit

    Set back kit I am using a short shaft on a 20" transom. Needless to say it does not work very well. I am limited on funds and need to figure out how the get the motor lower. setback kit sound about right, i think. Any help would be very appreciated.

    shaft extension kit

    I need help with finding an shaft extension kit for a 1972 johnson seahorse 20 hp. My boat needs a long shaft and i have a short. My choices are cut my transom down 4 inches on a 1967 freeland fiberglass boat or extend the shaft. Buying a different motor is not an option. Any ideas? Thank you.

    cavitation plate

    Re: cavitation plate This is what I am working with. It is a fiberglass boat. It is a 1972 20 hp Johnson short shaft. The problem I am having is, am I going to have to cut the boat in order to get the plate low enough?
