    2023 NFL/CFB News and Nonsense

The officials said after the game that if the WR had asked, they would have told him he was offside. Poor losers all around on this one.

    2023 NFL/CFB News and Nonsense

Show me in the rule book where a WR is supposed to get a warning...I will wait! BTW...both pictures were taken at the exact same time if you look at every player's arms and where they are located.

He was completely offsides! Wasn't even close! In what universe would this be ticky tack?

Maybe my turn for new boat time

Supposedly, they are starting to enforce using it on Lake Tahoe. We are a Coast Guard enforced lake and the local Sheriffs and Lake police will also be enforcing the law. I am using one if I can remember to attach it. You are only required to have it attached at planing speeds.

Maybe my turn for new boat time

I have done a bunch of work on my Cobalt under the dash. I don't really see stuff like that. What I am having issues with is a Garmin problem. One of my Garmins lost NEMA 2000 connectivity. That took a while to diagnose since it took down the NEMA network on both my devices so I was without...

    Trailblazer for Tow Vehicle?

And not a chance in hell I would tow that heavy of a boat with that vehicle. I wouldn't even tow that heavy of a boat with a Tahoe!

Can't decide who's the most annoying

No home phone anymore...not needed. My cell phone, which is a Pixel, has call screening. I just turned 65 so the Medicare junk mail just went in the recycle. Not sure why this is a big deal to people and why it annoys them so much.

    Shifting problems

Higher RPMs cause shifting out of gear to be harder. Shifting into gear won't matter. Of course if running on muffs, RPM doesn't matter much since no load on the dog clutch pawls.

    Shifting problems

You shouldn't be shifting without the engine running. It's a poor test and puts pressure unnecessarily on your shift cable. Many years ago, I changed out my console shifter to a Gen II and new cables and the shifting went from just marginal to silky smooth. Definitely recommend it.

    5.0 GXi oil extraction

Sounds like your engine pan is empty. If you really don't believe that, unscrew the dipstick tube from the fitting at the bottom of the pan and then unscrew the fitting. This isn't rocket science! There hasn't been a camera made in the last 30 years that has only 640 pixels. My very first...

    VP DP-SM drain screw leaking

And make sure it's actually leaking from the drain plug. Few ways oil can leak in that area. May even be wise to pressure test with that plug in place. Spray soapy water around until you see where it's actually leaking.

    5.0 GXi oil extraction

Duct tape and a thin piece of molding works fine. I had a septic tank inspected and that's how he did it except he used a piece of copper pipe. He said the phone was way better than his $2K inspection camera.
