    i just took out the gauge. and yes its stuck there but does move ... i think its just a calibration needing to be done. gotta clean it up some as well. i also took out the saturn compass , gonna clean it up and get the light working again as its not even hooked up at all. will take pics and post...

    as far as i can tell its all done by 2 magnets built onto the wheel. wich is very old tech, but the most accurate in my books.... however my speed gauge is stuck on i believe 5-6 knots and wont go down to zero . lol whats the fix on that? yes it had a plywood backing plate . thats a big...

    well i took the speed sensor out today and cleaned up the hole. removed the rotted wood that was in place. will be using butyl to seal it back up and no wood added.

    ive done my research on the serial number enough to know thats its a 93. i do know how to read the serial number. scroll up to get the serial number. do a search its a 93.
