    New Journey

I sent them an email on Monday, but haven't heard anything back. What I discovered through multiple phone calls to different companies/suppliers, was that most don't typically hold any physical inventory and the product ships direct from the manufacturer. Looks like I'm changing from green to...

You asked for feedback. I provided it. I apologize if it wasn't to your liking.

    1978 SS 16 restoration

The factory consoles are tied into the gunnels and deck. I think you will find that they do provide a lot of structural integrity when combined with the wood panels on the console fronts and windshield. This is why it is always recommended to ensure your are engineering some additional support...

    1978 SS 16 restoration

I'd stay with the existing console layout and not adjust any of the fundamental design. Much if it ties into the overall structural integrity of the hull. Any modifications starts messing with windshield alignment and has a tendency to domino into issues that might need to be addressed. All a...

    New Journey

Still checking the forums every day, but haven't been the best at posting, nor made much for progress on the MR180. Kids, life, hunting season...excuses, excuses:) Anyway, digging back in and starting to give her some more attention. Unfortunately, after several emails back and forth with the...

    New-To- Me 1972 Starcraft 18' Mariner-V... Thoughts?

Not to hijack the thread, but figured the OP might be interested in the information as well: With the 115HP, what size fuel tank are you running under the console and what kind of run time are you getting out of it? I have a 115hp tower of power and currently looking at running a 12gallon tank...

    1982 MR 180

Never ran it with the 70hp. Sold it before stripping it down and have a 115hp Mercury inline 6 waiting to be mounted.

    1972 Starcraft Nova

Assuming you are storing it outside and the water is coming in from the cover of the stripped down hull, I wouldn't worry about it. Once the bow cap is back on, if the boat is stored correctly, that area will never see water unless it is leaking in from the hull. If you really wanted to keep...

    1966 Starcraft Holiday Interior Work

Looks like they are replacing the 6.2L with a 6.8L for MY23, assumed to be a de-bored or de-stroked 7.3L for a more modular platform between the two gas offerings. Reveal is tonight in Kentucky at Churchill Downs. Front end/headlight changes as noted, addition of a bed step behind the cab, and...

    1966 Starcraft Holiday Interior Work

Did you order locally, or from one of the high volume dealers? The 2023 redesign is suppose to be revealed tomorrow. Been waiting to see the changes before I decide to order or look for a 2022 somewhere.

    New Journey

Broke out the HF HVLP that’s been sitting new in the box for the past 10+ years and popped my HVLP cherry. Initial clean and spraying went just fine, but clean up was a little messy 😁. Wasn’t happy with my original roller job on the inside of the hull, but happy now. Wanted a dull finish, so...

    Starcraft on C-list/ebay!

http://boatspecs.iboats.com/Starcraft_Marine/bp/20br1466 I've got most of the MR/Mariner specs saved as well. If you know the year, I can see what I've got.

    1978 SS 16 restoration

Try standing inside the hull as well. Using your weight to rock it a bit sometimes helps break it free. Just make sure you have all the hardware and splashwell drains out :)
