    popping through intake

    351w just put back into boat when running I get a popping through the intake, like a hammer hitting the back of the flame arrester. Thought it was a valve sticking, compresion test ok. Replaced dist and wires, no change. Will a over tighten rocker cause a popping sound through the intake.

    under floor cooler

    A while back I remember reading about someone making a external cooler out of rigid fiberglass and epoxy. I would like to due the same but place it infront of my ski locker under the floor. My question is does epoxy and cloth form a water tight seal or due I need to coat the inside with a membrane.
