Sold our Starcraft and it was Bittersweet

I've heard the 2 best days in any boat owners life are the day you purchase the boat and the day you sell it. Well for us that didn't really hold true. Our Starcraft wasn't our first boat, but it was the first one we purchased with a clear goal in mind. We bought it knowing it had issues with...

    Any Miami Vice Fans Here?

To bad it's a lot out of our price range. The Admiral and I were Teens when this show hit the air waves back in the 80's. I'm sure if I look hard enough I could dig up some appropriate attire and some cool Ray Bands to complete the Sonny Crockett look and my wife certainly knows how to tease her...

We may be adding a new Stratos to the Fleet. Admiral Approved!

Yes that's right sports fans Admiral Approved! So the last 4 years fishing out of our SS 160 has been good, and she cruises up and down our lake fine. We have decided to get a little bigger boat ( 2 foot itis ) and are wanting to stay with the fish and ski theme, because we really do like to...

    1993 ( I think ) 200hp Jhonson venom GT. Opinions Welcome

We are going to look at a 1993 Stratos 290SF on Saturday that has I believe the original 200Hp Johnson on it. The seller stated that the engine was rebuilt in 2011 due to the automatic oilier failing. After the rebuild he mixed the oil and gas himself. I am familiar with Chrysler outboards as...

What I did this last weekend.

Nice! I'm in the process of finishing my Remington 870 tactical build. Mostly just changing the furniture. Next up will be my Benelli Nova. I want to change the barrel and add a longer magazine extension.
