I have an issue with the trim pump on my boat (186 MONTEREY with 3.0l merc alpha II)
It goes down just fine, but if I try raise the transom it just makes a click noise coming from the trim pump. Why will it go down fine but not up?
First off, its a part on a normal Alpha 1 generation II trans. Its the sensors that control how far up and down the cylinders can bring the transom.
My issue here is, I need to know how to set them now that I took them off and stupidly didn't mark them and even more stupidly started playing...
