The iboats forum moderators are excited to announce that at this time it appears the iboats forums posting pictures function is working once again. Though we cannot promise for how long, we're hoping for indefinitely.
I use a charger similar to a noma 5 watt charger. Yes I run lead acid batteries and unsure of how much charge I've got at the end of the day. My boat sits weeks at a time at the storage yard and I've never had an issue with low batteries since I started using the solar charger
If I remember correctly I gave you a run for your money lol. Also I did pick up an Enertia 19 pitch after that day. Pretty good prop. But sold it and now I'm running a 19 Revolution 4. Have been out lately?
I bought a small solar powered battery charger. When I put my boat away at the end of the day , just hook them up to the batteries and set it on the snap covers. Batteries are always charged
Well strangest thing today. Go to launch , set the switch to all . Launch the boat and it fires right up. Idle in to pick up the wife. Shut it off , go for restart and nothing. No power whatsoever. Try switch at 1 , try it 2. Still no power. Check the breaker and it's good. Put boat back on...
I've owned the boat for over 10 years now. But just now realized that I've got no power to the starter when the switch is set to #2. If I remember correctly it did have power in this setting when I first got it. No changes to the wiring since purchased except for replacement of the batteries.
Was wondering what the safe max trim angle is on my outdrive from fully in. Either the angle or how much chrome is showing on the rams. I usually just trim up by the seat of my pants according to how the boat is running. But for peace of mind I would like to know the safe max. Thanks for your help
I've got a hummingbird helix 5 on our boat . It's mounted on the port side. What I would like to know is if I got another smaller hummingbird sonar can I run both units off the same transducer? Thanks for any help
So after owning our 2004 Caravelle 187 for 7 years . I decided to take it to work and give it an update. Looks like a new boat . I've attached some new and old pics
Just saw your other post about the boat bouncing. I would replace your winch. Even though its new , its a cheap generic one. Get a good 2 speed winch. It will make loading so much easier for you.
Well I just changed the original one on my 04 4.3 GXI-E. Only reason is because its never been changed. And to my eyes it still looked good. What are your thoughts?
