so i get the lower end all tidy motor runs greats till yesterday now i lost spark also i noticed who ever owned it before me dissconected the 3 wires that come from the fly wheel to the distribution block to the rectifyer so my charging system wasnt working.... could there be a reason why they...
i stepped on my motor today i noticed the transom pulls away from the splash guard about 1/8" where the caulk is does this mean its time to do the transom
78 55hp the one shop wants 300 and thats just labor i have the seal kit already... i have the service manual and im a pretty mechanically inclined person ive done head gaskets and motor rebuilds on cars how difficult is it to do them
got the boat out for the first time this year and fired her up but there was some crud coming out of the prop area im guessing its time to reseal her or is this normal?

i jus drained the oil out of my lower end and a little white ball the size of a bb is in the pan now should i be concerned or is it something easy to fix when i do all the seals this week
i jus bought this motor started it for the first time today started great thank god pumped water good when i go to stop it i can turn the key off and it still runs anyone got a clue thanx
as the title says i cant find what color it actually is im restoring one that i got off ebay for 300 it spent its life on a toon till i got it thanx for helping
