    Hot battery terminal

    Today I went to start my 93 115 and I cranked it for about 10-15 seconds, nothing, touched the negative terminal on the battery and it was searing hot, enough to burn my finger and blister. Why would it be getting so hot? Any thoughts.

    I have a 1993 Johnson 115 with vro. I am wanting to replace the line from oil tank to engine, Does anyone know what dia the hose is? I cannot find it on the current hose. thanks.
