Just rebuilt the carbs on my 850. Top end it runs perfect but I kept having a rough idle, no matter how much I adjusted air/ fuel and idle settings. I determined it must be some kind of vacuum leak and went to searching and discovered something interesting. It seems that that the linkage shaft...
I would like to think I am fairly competent with tracking down parts, but I cannot find the little plastic linkage that ties the two carbs together on my 85 horse Merc. Any suggestions. I have the Type A carbs. with the side bowl.

Met with the upholstery guy today and ordered the material, I will drop off the SS monday for him to do the work.....OUCH! little more than I expected but once I thought about how much work it is I realized I probably wouldn't touch it for that much, so we go...

Well guys here is a quick run down of this last week. I purchased all the bases and pedestals for all the seating, also purchased the transom caps from "michealp". I have been trying to land a deal on a motor but would find one then get busy and miss it.... blah...
