    My motor was doing the exact same thing would on cool when higher rpm. My impeller was still intact but had a few cracks on the fins. Installed a new impeller and it was good to go.

    It was 2 or 3 days of sitting with the key on. I charged it yesterday and went fishing last night got 3 walleye too👍. I checked it this morning it was still charged. The key is off so I will see what happens over the next couple days.

    It's a Napa matenice free battery. Just motor on it for starting. Yes it was used .

    I have a 2000 Johnson 25hp 3cylinder. I got a used Napa battery, it's not even 2yrs old. It had to be charged when I got it , it was at 25 percent. I checked it after fishing 2 nights ago and it was at a 100percent. I just checked it now and it was almost dead. The key wasn't turned all the way...

    I wouldn't say alot but it's never hit anything yet. Usually it's just a 15min ride to the lake. Sometimes go to cousins cottage 1hour away hills and dirt roads and it's been fine. But if its less stress on the boat with it up I will start putting it up.

    It will lock halfway up and all the way up and all the way down. It looks like it bounces less when it's down.

    I was just reading on here about that the motor should be up when on the trailer. I have a 2000 Johnson 25hp 3cylinder on a 14ft Lund. The motor is very heavy. I have been driving with it down because I thought that when it's up it looks like it bounces more than when it's down and I was afraid...
