    Thanks! I have yet to refill and purge all old goop. I found some literature on the sequence on how to clear lines and trim rams. Will see how that goes.

    It was 100% the brushes. There was gunk in the little tracks and they could not slide freely. Good cleaning and it’s working great! yes, I saw a video that said watch for that. If anyone ever loses it, just get a bicycle ball bearing.

    Servicing my tilt pump and happen to have a few quarts of 2 cycle oil laying around. They say you can use 10w30, would 2 stroke oil work?

    We ll another clue is , when it was struggling to pump, we tapped the motor casing with a wrench and the motor sped up, eventually running normal

    Well this is the pump that I have and the video has clear audio of my problem. The grenn arrow in the picture points at the red wire that was nearly broken and the point where it attaches to the positive post on the solenoid. I snipped it, added a few inches of same gauge wire and a new grommet...

    After I run it up and down it works fine. After it sits for a bit, the sequence starts over. Does it harm the pump to run it through the low/slow part until it is running normal?
