Volvo 350 seized

First off, I am pretty new to this forum and I am VERY new to working on this engine. I'm a hobby diesel mechanic (as in i fix my own diesel cars when they break) but a lot of this is new to me..so thanks for the patience...I've learned a lot just reading around on this forum and hope to learn...

Intake Fitting? Newbie question

I will try and glean some more clues next time I am out at the boat. In the mean time here are a few pics of the motor. I don't know if that helps or not?

Intake Fitting? Newbie question
