    with the risers off, you should NOT have a hose connected. easy to pull the impeller on a cobra. or just pull the cover, squirt in some soapy water and put the cover back.

    great suggestion based on spelunking around Ebay, yes, the cover coil is removable. the main stator has about a 4-3/4" ID by counting the lines on the interlocking floor (we have the same in the lab at work) this should work. and nearly a 8.0-8.5" OD based on this. so next is to get my...

    If it drops for a very very very short time, the motor will stumble If it drops more than .2-.5 seconds while in gear, the motor would most likely die
