    I have a 21' CC with a 93 225 johnson and Im running a Rapture 14.25x21. Ive seen on other posts that head temp gets to high at higher rpms. Im having the same problem .When I take it to 5500 rpms (50 mph) my temp gets to about 165-170. When I let of to a lower rpm 4000 or so it cools back down...

    transom rebuild help!!!!

    I know it been talked about in other fourms but not for what i have. I have a 88 21 Answer open fish(formally a florida marine patrol boat).My problem is that i cant get to the transom from the top it a full top liner or closed transom.I dont know if i should cut the top liner from side to side...

    gelcoat thinning

    When using styrene to thin gealcoat do I have to add more mekp to make up for the styrene. Example if I pour 1 quart of gelcoat and mix the mekp for 1 quart and then add styrene do I have to add more mekp to the mix.<br />Thanks

    overheating 93 johnson 225

    I have a 93 johnson 225 when i run it at 5100-5200 the temp. gauge reads about 180. I dont get any warning buzzer sound and the engine does not go into save mode. I recently adjusted the timming to 17 deg. and thats when it started happening. As soon as I let of the throttle it cools back down...
