    Saw something I have never seen before. I went down to the dock to unplug the irrigation pump I saw a tiny painted turtle on the steps so I thought I would put it in the water. I dropped it in the water and sunfish swarmed the poor thing.

    Yeah I have the pontoon at home put the battery in, checked the oil it looks very clean, just need to keep cleaning and check the lower unit for milk should be in the water soon.

    Big weekend this weekend combined with work travel and timing with the dock going in the boats need to be in the water and running tomorrow. I will not be able to service the motors before they are used, just charge the batteries and refuel and put them in. Sorry will fully service next week but...

    My daughter at least once a year has one head processed into 100% ground. I guess when you run 500 head grinding up one whole doesn't hurt. It is the best ground beef you will ever have though.

    Saltwater fishing is my preferred then again I don't keep what I catch so it doesn't matter what I catch. I look at the weather, wind and tide and kayak fish near shore, biggest decision is shrimp or minnows.

    Rant: Can't catch a break with weekend weather...

    Last year I put the pontoon in on May 25th, looks like it will be the same time this year. I hope the swallows have already built their nests, we get a pair that builds a nest underneath the deck, trying to enjoy a boat ride and you have panicked swallows circling the boat.
