    Merc 25 Shifting

    My 1986 Merc 25 shifts into neutral from reverse fine but when i shift from forward to neutral it doesn't go completely into neutral. I have to shift from forward into reverse and then into neutral. What should i do.

    Merc controls

    Can i use the controls made for a merc 4/5 and Mariner 5-50 with my 86 Mercury. I will be rewiring the kill switch to the front of the boat. I think the only reason you can't use it on a 25 is because you have to remove the kill switch and there isn't one on the controls is this true?

    Pulley steering bracket

    Hi, I have a 1957 Cadillac wolverine and i just bought a used Mercury 25 for it. The serial number of the motor is 0A962507 and i was wondering what year the motor was and where I can find a bracket to attach the pulley steering to the motor. Thanks.
