    Mercruiser Coil Wiring

You have a TBV ignition and the prior owner is a dumb A$$ Remove the resistor mounted on the boat Get the correct coil, inspect your wires as they may need replacing, than go boating

Oil pressure switch / oil pressure sender

As your state the filter is not done correctly. With it connected this way there is no filtering of the fuel and any crud is pump straight through to the carb Does look like it needs a pump and the pump filter hose moved to the the other port, then clean the carb

    Dual battery or booster pack?

If combined for a few seconds it will increase the current and also the better Bat will be able provide more voltage, which is normally enough to start a motor from weak Bat.

    electricians? Breakers, GFCI, AFCI

I've rewired several homes, mine and sisters over the years, all passed inspection. I learned a lot from my Dad which was an electrician. I've never done a complete house in probably 20 years now. I did wire my new barn and it passed, but a barn does not require the same kind of inspection

    electricians? Breakers, GFCI, AFCI

No electrician here but it's my understanding that there are GFCI and AFCI breakers. Current code The 2020 NEC® states that Arc-fault circuit-interrupter protection shall be provided as required in 210.12(A), (B), (C), and (D). The pump is energized from power supplied by a Yel/Red wire coming from the key while cranking going thru a diode. The run side...

Robalo2440 1995 Nav light needs repaired

Good you found something but I see more than just the glare at night issue. The light is not taller than your Bimini top, so the light will not be seen all around which doesn't work for Regs. Most any electrical shop will have conduit benders. You could get one longer and bend to fit, or get...

    Dual battery or booster pack?

My comment in post 29 was saying if you had a switch to connect both for emergency starts it would be helpful. Meaning a 3 post switch on/off/combine My comment in post 31 was just saying the HF switch is ok to be used in a Marine environment The 3 position switch is like this This way if...

    any roofers here?

Another issue with metal if you have snow or ice, it can slide off and kill someone. If you use metal put things up there to keep things from sliding off
