My very first boat with a 1975 Evinrude 85hp out back purchased for $500! We took it out before purchase and everything seemed fine. After removing the carpet found a large soft area on the transom-so that will be replaced soon as well as the deck, as I removed-what i assume to be-the fill plugs...
