    its just when I put the pin in the top to connect it to the motor it wont lift it, if all is good valving/seal ... wise is it possible the motor is incapable of producing enough PSI for the engine to go up ?

    prop repair or new one solves the prop problem ....the rest belongs to a welder..... time and money permitting. I only had a chip break of and they wanted 3-400$ for my repairs so I just went JB weld (later painted) this one is more severe of course and neeeds a full rebuild :-(

    if so why not add a direct B+ supply to the suspect part as a test or monitor it with a test lamp or vom to see whatahappens when you release the starter cct.

    Chat had several options... here is one... fwiw.... 5. Primer/choke masking lean condition During cranking, the primer enriches fuel mixture. If carbs are badly clogged, engine may only run on primer fuel while cranking. More likely if: engine only fires with choke/primer sneezes or coughs...
