    71 Merc 400 water pump

    Replaced water pump and finally got lower unit back in place but still no water from pee hole(Lots of air) If I blow air in end of tube toward pump there are no bubbles in water.     Merc wiring

    Just bought a 14 ft '66 Steury with a '71 Mercury motor. All wires to ignition and lites and instruments have been cut. Any suggestions in rewiring. I would settle for just running lites and fuel gauge? Also, has anyone had any experience in using opti-2 as fuel mix?
