    key sticking

    my key is sticking and making motor turn over while off and when trying to crank. it turns over while i try to crank and sometime stick when i turn it off. in order to get it to stop i have to turn key a time or two and when back in off position it stops. what is causing all of my troubles...

    finally got it to run and water coming out of pee hole, noticed oil coming from propeller area after seating over night. is the seal went bad, just took it running for 30 min. to see leak.? water usally comes from around propeller while running, is oil mixing with water for exhaust. what going...

    eletric chock not working

    1979 mariner 90hp magnetic chock stoped working, the wire is hot, i mean has power when switch is on and i push chock button at controls, but nothing else happens. Where to fing part #, so for now i have made a string to pull chock.

    well i thamk i may have fixed peeing problem. a little dirt was in pee hole very common problem.just to overwelmed to thank of that. did have time to check, but did run water throgh line to make sure all dirt or mud now was out.

    fuel pump and now what?

    went ahead and took off fuel pump. and it had a little rust on diaphrams and screws inside, not to bad thogh. i reused all parts, cleaned them all well put back together and still not tring to crank. still the only time it wants to try to crank and run is if i take out 3or4 spark plugs spray...

    i am thinking of putting trolling battery in front of boat. good or bad idea? just tring not to have to run wire all the way to the back, and save money so i dont have to buy alot of wire.
