    Alpha one, how much drive oil?

    I was told locally 2qts, but my book says 32 oz. Which is correct. Another dump question, how does the oil get from the lower unit to the upper unit? I am confuzed. When I did the impeller I did not see a port.

    Putting cover on wet? Not really a choice.

    I have mooring covers on both my boats but the winter covers are wet and the weather is not getting better. Can I put the full winter cover on them wet? I was planning to put the winter covers on over top of the mooring cover for added protection.

    Why do you have to replace engine, if block is cracked?
