    Spark plugs

Nope I'm here! Just got off work! I get it now and it hit me like a ton of bricks! You guys were right...again. Plugs are gapped correctly now and gonna try syncing again tomorrow. I thought syncing would be easier but it's actually quite a fine dial in

    Spark plugs

Lol...I know how to gap plugs. I've been around cars my whole life. The gap that's given in the manual is just...unusually large to me

    Spark plugs

Ok so...got the carbs cleaned and we are seriously struggling to get them synced. How do I find the correct gap size for my plugs besides the manual? Manual says 0.8 - 0.9 but theres no way that gap is that huge!! Previous owner had plugs gapped at .34 mm and that seems more reasonable but I...

Well the fact that he's rebuilding the exact same carbs and the fact that his part number is the same number as on iboats kind of gives it a little bit of credibility.

    Why o' why?

Well... Every time we thought it was one thing It turned out to be another then another then another so I've changed out the plugs, the coils, the fuel filter and fuel pump. I've changed the entire fuel line from the tank to the engine as well as a float. I've talked to about 30 mechanics and...

    Rebuilding the carbs

Yamaha T50TLRB outboard 4-stroke Part# 93210-35M86 It's what the diagram AND the full series video on my engine that I'm watching says but he also states it's too small and the wrong part ( again it is on the diagram as the number he States in boats.net). It's one of the O-rings on the...

    Why o' why?

Well at this point the only thing left is literally the carburetors. I'm making a parts list tonight and getting parts ordered and I'm going to rebuild the carbs. I'm literally done everything I can up to this point so when I rebuild the carbs this thing should run like a champ LOL

Pretty sure I found at least one of the leaks.

Are you talking about that big ass long plate that attaches to all of them?

Pretty sure I found at least one of the leaks.

Want to know what I was just thinking? Another thing that could be flooding my oil with fuel is possibly a stuck float. Does that sound correct?

Pretty sure I found at least one of the leaks.

I mean...I gotta start the damn thing and it's going to be cold when I start it
  17. Cuppy420

Pretty sure I found at least one of the leaks.

So what else could cause it to run too rich or too cold?

Pretty sure I found at least one of the leaks.

As far as I know I just push the key in and that's supposed to be the choke according to the previous owner
