    I did my compression check and got C#1 135 C#2 135 C#3 130 C#4 130 Motor runs fine, but at WOT does 30mph and takes a long time to get there....What could cause this or thats all I am going to get out of my 125HP?

    Just with me and my girl friend and a half tank of fuel the boat will top out at 30mph, but it takes a really long time to get there. Any body have any ideas whats going on?     Charged the battery, and still cranking way to slow.

    I took my boat to the lake, cranked over fast like it should once, and would barely crank at all,took it home let it charge over night and still cranks extremly slow, look at all connnections and they are all tight and clean...Any ideas?

    The boat does not have a temp sensor, what will happen if it over heats? The guy told me it shuts off automatically. True or fasle?

    Looking at a bayliner with a 125 force, motor is super clean under the cover and outside, fresh water only. Anything to look for? I asked him about over heating he said if it over heats it shuts off automaticlly? No temp gague :redface:

    Merc 470, new waterpump/cam seals...few more questions.

    I finally got the new seals in, all bolted back together, new t-stat. I start the boat, runs great, no leaks, weep hole problem sloved, great.     No thermostat in motor?

    My boat is having over heating problems, I took the thermostat cover off and there was no thermostat in there. So the motor has no thermostat at all. Where can I find a new one? Anyone have a part number or a website? What would this do to my motor since there was not on in there.
