key and p/u tube are good. Only ran it for about 20 seconds - see that the water might take longer to cycle than that. I'm used to Jet ski motors.

filled up the reservoir and lubed pistons, raises all the way up, although much slower than lowering. thanks for the help It does seem to be leaking - drops down from high to low in about 60 seconds. I assumes there is a kit to replace the seals in this?

Force 125 Trim Motor working, but I think it should go higher

Resurrecting this motor. Seems like the trim should lift higher. There is a stainless support that slides in to hold the motor up during transit. I figure the trim motor should at least clear that.

Got this on a nice little 19' Trophy. Boat hasn't seen water for 10 years. Motor and prop spin freely. Control cables were split, removed them and see that the tower shaft/throttle linkage is frozen. I'm thinking my lower unit is locked up. insides of the Top look pretty good. Have wiring...

as far as this motor cutting off. Going to put a wrench on it and make sure it is not seized. Could it just be the ignition hot to the motor corroded and cutting off the motor? I'm not seeing a whole lot of complexity in this wiring.
