    Can the Bunks be raised a bit? You can move the Bow Stop forward to bring the Boat Forward. The Axle might need to be moved, if the Tongue is too heavy, but that is just part of Adjusting a Trailer to the Boat

    I wouldn't worry about the lack of Keel Rollers, I have had several Trailers, both Bunk and Roller, that didn't have them. It is my Belief that more Hulls are damaged by incorrectly adjusted Keel Rollers than any other Trailer Maladjustment

    Now I see what you meant by Vee Block, That looks like a Bow Stop Should work. You might have to adjust the Bunks a bit. Hopefully they are High enough that the Bow doesn't hit the Crossmembers when Launching Loading

    Could be something as Simple as a Bad Coil. Since the Miss moved when you moved the Coil, and remained when you swapped wires, it kinda points to the Coil. Replace the Coil, if you are still having Issues, then more Diagnostics is in order

    Can't be. In 1980 OMC went to a different Gearcase, where the Water Inlets were further back on the Gearcase. The Cases aren't swappable as the Shift Linkage is different.
