    I noticed I had milky oil when I checked dipstick. Last thing I did was clean the riser and replaced gasket. It never overheated. Ughhh

    Does anyone know the normal RPMs for a Mercruiser 140hp Alpha One Gen One running on land with rabbit ears. I'm running at 975 and it seems to be running really nice. Is that too high?

    Merc Sterndrive 3.0 Pressure test is holding steady at 7psi, should I be concerned?

    I did a pressure test today on my 1980s Mercruiser Sterndrive 3.0 A1G1, the upper and lower together , it's holding steady at 7 psi for 2 hours. Should I be concerned? When I did just the lower, it was amazing. The upper could be hurting I suppose

    Is it possible to put the upper half of the sterndrive on first? Or do I need to put the whole drive on together?

    I went to mount the upper half of my sterndrive (Merc Alpha One Gen One). It's much easier for me to put the upper half on, first because it's lighter and way easier to maneuver. Is this possible to do it without assembling both halves? Your experiences and thoughts. Thanks

    What toggle switch do I get for my instrument panel. It's the switch that turns on the actual panel.

    I'm not sure what toggle switch I would need for my instrument panel. I believe it has like 4 or 5 tabs on the back of it. All the other switches on the panel are the same I believe. Nav, Bilge, etc. The boat is a 1985 Century. I'll check the actual switch later. Just asking for now. Thanks
