    storing outboard in car?

    Anyone like me who just keeps everything in their car since I'm getting 1 or 2 outings a week? I keep the boat bagged in the den and just wheel it out and strap it and the gas tank to my hitch haul. Everything else stays in my blazer... Including my outboard, which stays laying on its front side...

    improved performance on 12ft mini cat

    So.... And yeah, I know shouldn't do this, but it was an experiment. I moved the bench seat up from the back spot and connected on the "oh ****" handles. Damn.... Night and day, planes in under 10 seconds and cruises about 17mph, GPS topped out at 18mph, must have road a wave for a second. So...

    How do you guys with air deck floors stop all of your heart from bouncing all over the place? Again maybe it was the hurricane and extremely bouncy chop but it def was an issue!

    tube pressure

    Ok... My Saturn mc365... Book says to inflate tube to 20kp and floor to 60kp...I have the digital pump so I can get it spot on. I seem to remember someone saying that that isn't enough pressure? Any suggestions on what to do?

    how much fuel do you take out?

    Name about says it.... If you are going out for a full day on the water how much fuel do you take vs actually use? I just got a 6gal tank but was hoping for the more local lakes I wouldn't need to take out a full tank. I know I can add stabil and just use it next time..... Just curious

    trying again

    Trying to get pics of the boat up after using on local lake this weekend. Don't have the sticker yet and I'm going to have to have the guy I got the motor from take it back. I ran it for 15 min. It shut off and now rope won't pull, but it was a blast while working!

    hypothetical question

    Ok.... Imagine this... Same boat, load, weather/water conditions. What would be the difference in performance between a 7.5 HP and 9.5 HP? How often do you guys actually go wot? And would the 9.5 be more fuel efficient at same speed? Thanks guys!
