    Hotter than normal temps. I just replaced the impeller on the sterndrive, and pulled the circulator pump.

    It was fine for at least a week minimum as it was a brand new impeller, and now it seems the impeller isn't functioning. I'm draining the lower end oil and removing the lower leg to inspect the impeller.

    Bone dry, I'm not getting any water coming up from the stern inlet hose to the Tstat housing. I'm assuming the new impeller is bad or I put it in wrong. Ughhhhh 😤

    Yes gauge is correct. I agree the fins seem to look ok. However it's corroded. So I'll replace it anyways.

    So in what reviews I looked at The (AT 205 RE Seal) is getting a lot of positive reviews. I'll advise my findings and report back to you all. Maybe next year I'll redoe the crankshaft seal if it's totally necessary.

    Well, I drained well over 5 quarts of engine oil today on the Merc using an electric oil pump that I purchased on Amazon, it came with several hoses and it worked out flawlessly and effortlessly. I definitely had put too much oil in originally and I'm sure this is why I had some oil leak issues...

    After I drain some oil out when I get the oil pump, I'm going to try the AT 205 RE Seal, I read some really decent reviews on it. It couldn't hurt to give it a try.

    Thanks, That's an old ground wire. I'm not using it, it has no function. I'll remove it.

    Maybe two years ago. I believe it most likely started slightly last year, and I really noticed it this year.

    In what I'm reading, excessive Oil in the engine can cause seal leaks. I may be a quart or so over, possible a quart and a half. I'm taking a quart or so out tomorrow.

    I don't see any water leaks. Whatever is in my bilge is from the rainwater.
