    Lower pitch for more RPM's....not on mine!

    1984 Pontoon 28' with a 1984 75hp 3 cyl Johnson outboard. old prop is a 15 pitch 3 blade and most I can get is 4480 on the RPM gauge. If I trim it up it starts to cavitate. "Prop Shop" said we will go with a 14 diameter 13 pitch 3 blade....OK! Installed it and couldn't get the RPM's over...

    3 seperate coils to 3 seperate spark plugs..... Top, Middle, Bottom Top coil part number is 582106 Middle coil part number is 582508 Bottom coil part number is 582106 Just not running right....I rebuilt the carbs with brand new omc parts and measured the floats twice! Was on the water...

    Is there a way to put direct 12v to the trim motor to see if it moves or its frozen or just broke? I check the wires and switch....everything tests good. thanks

    xact2form 3/4" for deck?

    2x4 dimensional not PT for pontoon deck?

    Here is my idea....I have a 28' older pontoon that had a 1/2" marine plywood floor put in last year. I'm 300lbs and when I walk around the boat the floor "gives" a bit. I DONT LIKE THAT FEELING. I want to lay down non PT 2x4s that have been painted (all sides) with lifetime warranty exterior...

    2oz chopped SM for strength?

    Does 2oz CSM add strength to transom or floor if applied to both sides? I know about 1708 but what about CSM? I have a roll of 60 yards and am trying to use it. Also have a few packages of some basic cloth from Walmart. Thats the transom which is 2 pieces of 3/4 ply with 2oz CSM Thanks!

    Noodles as stringer bedding? Comments please

    Which fuel pump to replace VRO?

    1985 Johnson 70HP (J7OTLCOS) My VRO is leaking fuel everywhere when I squeeze the primer bulb but surprislingly starts right up. While at idle I can't see any fuel leaking but it needs to go. No rebuilds....just get a regular fuel pump and premix.....which fuel pump? Thanks in adavance...
