Anyone know what this female plug on the radio head unit is for?

Yeah, the manual I downloaded shows that as the antenna input. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-rAiCh28ALRg/p_045KDC225M/Kenwood-KDC-225MRCC.html

    Trailer guides

I use them for a visual aid when backing the trailer without the boat on it. My boat does not touch them as it is coming onto the trailer though I know some setups they do, in which the roller style would aid in not marring the boat's finish.

How would you answer this question?

Regal makes a fine boat...hopefully it is NOT the LS9 Surf model because wake boats are lake lice...but dropping 200 large is something most people would think twice about at an advanced age. And it's not just the boat cost, it's a large boat to trailer around (if that is needed) and a large...

Trailer bearing blowout. Need help with repair(s)

Buy a new axle...that is your only real option, with the resources you have indicated. Or take it to a trailer repair shop like REDNECK...this will assure you are tracking correctly.

    photographs......film vs digital.

I see this every time my wife and I go 'antiquing'...browsing thrift stores and the like...one often comes across photos from the past, and yes, that picture MEANT something to someone at some time. Now just cast aside, not even a memory anymore. So sad.

    photographs......film vs digital.

There are a couple of photo shops nearby that still develop film and make prints...not cheap...but still available. Many different mail-order film processors out there as well. I have often thought about setting up a darkroom in a spare bedroom of my house to do black-and-white photos...

    Carburetor issue, I think

I am struggling to understand your post/language...I think you are saying you got a carburetor that wasn't a Mercruiser (Mercruiser does NOT make carburetors by the way...assume you meant Holley, Weber, etc)..to replace the original (Holley, Weber, etc) that had been performing poorly? And now...

    photographs......film vs digital.

As an amateur photographer who really enjoyed film and the prints from it I can say that from an overall resolution perspective it is difficult to beat the high-end digital cameras available now. Even the old "large format" film cameras from my time in the hobby have been surpassed...

    How do you trim?

To each his own I suppose, but the MECHANICS of it demand full tuck in/trim down, hole-shot then gradually trim up and throttle back...generally speaking. Some hulls may react differently obviously.

    Mercruiser Neutral Safety Switch?

What has taken place since it DID crank and start okay? Has there been ANY work done to it? If so, THAT is the first place to start looking. What year and model of engine? What type of control handle for drive/throttle? Have you check power to the ignition switch?

Engine issue— Mercruiser 5.0L, 305, 2 barrel mercarb

How many hours on the engine? How long since (if ever) the carburetor has been serviced?

    Challenging loading

The boat/trailer are fine...adjust your technique. What worked with the old boat DOESN'T with this one...plain and simple.

    Raw water pump

definitely NOT normal. Was it ever? Is the boat new to you? There are a number of ways to install it WRONG and have it wobble, but only ONE way to install it and have it run true. Look back through some posts and threads on this subject.

Major Boating Accident On Lake Tahoe

I've seen other lakes do the same, notably Table Rock Lake in Missouri...those fast, hard-hitting summer storms can make HUGE waves...remember the accident with the DUCK a few years ago that killed all those people? The lake was calm/normal one minute and then crazy the next. Only advantage...

    Recommended wood for trailer bunks?

Never used galvanized fasteners with treated wood. Only use stainless steel fasteners and stainless or Inconel staples. Cypress is best, along with many other "tropical" woods that are nearly impossible to find. YELLOW pine, NOT white, is next best.

    Replacing bow seat foam

Invest in a cheap hot-wire knife, I think Harbor Freight has them...makes cutting foam a breeze, otherwise it sucks the big one...
