    Look for damage outside the hull, any dings, bangs or scrapes can cause a leak. Fiberglass is not totally water proof, it is the gelcoat that seals it, any damage to the gel coat can cause a leak.

    Way to many liabilities for you from other peoples poor decisions. Insurance will not be cheap and renting without insurance could cause you to loose everything ! We all hope you find time to finnish this project, yes we are looking forward to it !

    Yes....used it for years in my small outboard motors and never had an issue. These motors never worked hard, so if this motor will be run hard or is a larger main engine, I would follow mfgr recommendations !

    Same here in Ohio, fished for catfish and perch, got my first boat at 13 and started serious perch fishing. The old guy at the fish cleaners took me under his wing and taught me how to fillet them. 75 years later and they are still number one on my list !!

    Might not have a powerful enough solar panel to get that minimum needed voltage/ amps or what ever power they need.
