    Yes with the 120 merc. I also did the same thing sanded and opened the crack with a dremel jb weld it went strong for seven years. Gave to a nephew as far as I know still holding.

    I would take it back and have them fix the wiring should not be a problem with trimming up I have a 20ft. with a 90 merc. and can cruise 24 mph all day with motor trimmed up to the right spot.

    Vinyl floor on our pontoon we fish mainly with the pontoon vinyl hoses off easy. First boat that has vinyl on the floor and love it.

    I can do the uni-knot all day but cannot get the Slim Beauty knot! I have 30 pd. braid to a 12 pd. mono leader but just cannot get the line to make the figure 8 to start the knot:LOL:. Will try again tomorrow......

    Do you do the double over hand with the leader line or the braid line? I can’t get the loops to form right I can do the uni knots but not the slim beauty knot?

    Went to a striper derby caught this if it was a catfish derby it would have been a striper! Was still fun and lucky for the catfish he went back in the lake not the frying pan this time.

    Thanks for the reply but I think I remember that knot but do not think it will work with the braid line maybe but will check it out.

    I did use the double uni-knot from the backing do not know the Slim Beauty knot will have to look it up. I will use a leader to the lure also thanks for the reply.

    Just going to braid line do you use a mono backing and also what knots do you use for the braid line? I do like how thin the line is but not sure on what knots will not slip. Thanks for any help on this.
