    i have a 82 140 hp johnson i bought as a parts motor removed lower unit and noticed the inner exhaust gasket was not installed correctly half was in the opening . my question is what problems / running issues , noises would this have caused thanks for any comment :)

    Tilt & trim removal

    Can someone tell me how to get tilt & trim out of j115ez78 mount have 3 bolts starboard and 3 bolts port and top pin removed it is loose but don’t seem to have enough room to get out thanks for any help :eek:

    i bought a 82 model johnson was told 1 cyl had low compression tested and 3 cylinders are 100 to 110 port side bottom has near 0 if it could be a stuck ring what should my next step be thanks for any advice:)
