Well yeah , you should embrace that coz complaining about all thats wrong has got you over the 3000 posts you were striving for :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:. But seriously Buddy , I know what you mean but I put it down to computers not being as flawless as we tend to assume , and , of course the...

Does anyone know what this plug is called ??

Most common name is a body plug if its on a car ( they have heaps of them ) but I dunno what the outboard peeps would call it . You should be able to get one from an auto parts shop for a couple of bucks .:)

Does Yamaha flush port/hose, flush 100% of motor?

Yeah but some t/stats have a small bypass figured in there somehow and the t/stat is pretty much the last thing the water gets to . The t/stat doesnt make a perfect seal and will leak enough to purge any air out as the water gets pushed up thru the exhaust cover and the block and head...

    Spinning reels

Ooooh , what sort of gin ? 😁 Ice fishing , clear as the afore mentioned gin now :) , but it does raise an interesting point . Im assuming that the reference to minimal terminal tackle and the clear as gin water is because the cunning little fishies will spot the irregularity and...

Does Yamaha flush port/hose, flush 100% of motor?

Logic would suggest that "muff " water will get to the same places as lake or sea water . The flush port will also get everywhere that sea water can get as well .

    Spinning reels

Each to their own I guess . I use 3 gram lures ( various types ) with either a soft bait clip or a small snap swivel on my ultralite set up.

Here in New Zealand we have Dada da daaa da ( trumpet fanfare ) Swivels . These are cunning little devices that stop the line twisting . I thoroughly recommend them.

I dunno lots about these things but I do have a 2.5kw inverter that has an annoying qwirk , while it produces a sine wave at 50hz the top and bottom of the wave have a ripple . For the most part its not an issue but my digital clock only takes 11 mins to tick over an hour . Im thinkin that...

Yeah but , Im thinkin of all the guys I have seen that just dont know how to drive a meter to its best advantage , and all the good (ish ) looking meters that turned out to be crap. Its mostly just the tip and I do fit ceramic tips to all my rods if it didnt come with one . Its an old hang up from my nylon days because the noise made is similar to the noise nylon made when it was rubbing against something it shouldnt be , and it reminds me of some of the crap reels I...

    Spinning reels

I use a Penn Conflict 20 and an Abu Garcia Revos2 also in 20 size . While they are smaller reels they are solidly made and have a good drag and a reasonable bearing count . They will easily handle 6lb Rainbow Trout. I have found that a lighter weight set up is easier on the wrist . One...
