Absolutely , specially if you have had it so long they dont make them any more ( Jensen insect spinner )The one on the left isnt attached to the line , just there to see . The rod and reel are Temu specials and so far Im happy . the reel is a 1000 size ( the paper envelope is A4 for scale )

Trail camera issues fixed, now pics from them ...

They sure can jump . I watched two guys on quads flat out chasing a stag across a paddock as I drove down the road parallel to them, when the quads hit the brakes and give up the chase , twas then I realised the stag had cleared the fence at the end of the paddock without even braking stride.

I have some vinyl but am still working on the turn table ( not very hard tho ) . I have an old Garand that my Dad had modified so it would fit into joinery on our new home ( in 1978.....and it was probly 20 years old then ) so I have to figure out a way of mounting it , and that can make or...

Some of that good old stuff is making a come back . The vinyl boys are going retro on their gear too . Its getting hard to find a decent quality old turn table here now and an equivalent new one can set you back thousands . My Denon amps and CD player must be getting on 40 years now.

Could I use isolator to charge AGM battery

You could fit a regulator to any charging system that doesnt have one . I use US made Motobatt AGM batteries on my quads and motorbikes . Standard charging systems , and I have just worked out one of them is knocking on 20 years old, and still working fine .

How long does it take to change power heads

We have the same boat market downturn here , you just about cant give away a 2nd hand boat now, great if you want to buy one, 2 new boat retailers have closed up and the local manufacturers are struggling , . In town the franchise brands are going thru the same thing as you describe , the...

How long does it take to change power heads

Dude , if you read my 1st post I explained just how I did it in about 40 mins , admittedly I was 100% sure that there were no other problems ( I did say it was a new rebuild ) so there was no complications , and I have done it a couple of times prior . If your smart there is no return work that...

How long does it take to change power heads

This is part of my point ......it doesnt need the leading expert to do such a job , the boy who sweeps the floor could do it . I cant believe you couldnt spend 40 mins ( remember you would get paid for the time ) of your life , send the guy away happy to tell everyone what a great bunch of guys...

How long does it take to change power heads

We call it gouging , greedy people tack on every extra they can and expect peeps to be stupid enough to pay . A dealer could just swap the powerhead , stick in a china gasket and charge for the time spent , end of . Instead the potential customer leaves after such an attempted assault on...

How long does it take to change power heads

Well I had to replace the powerhead gasket on my 18hp Tohatsu ( which may be surprisingly similar ) new rebuild ( I screwed up and had a water leak ) any how I had to disconnect the throttle link and the reverse lock out link which takes about as much time to do as it takes to type it...

Have a live mouse inside a interior wall. No insulation.

Yeah I get that . We have issues here with secondary poisoning with 1080 ( I think NZ is one of the only places still using this stuff ) . Our Department of conservation ( DOC ) likes to blanket bomb large areas of bush to kill possums . They kill lots of native birds that they ( and others )...

50th Anniversary of the Edmund Fitzgerald's demise

I guess that depends on where you are , like I would not know about it but for the song here in NZ , but I got all inspired and learnt a bit about it . Having said that I gotta say that being a boatie I do tend to find out about local sinkings/ disasters . I have a railway ( coal train...
