Inspecting 2002 Tracker 125 HP Outboard

Oh and on the transom tilt motor up and push as hard ad you can down should be zero flex and try to tighten motor mount bolts should not be able to move much at all. I had a boat once was able to get a few turns then noticed the washer had sunk in meaning transom was rotten.

Give it more time and more exposure. If it was yours you would hope for the same.

Inspecting 2002 Tracker 125 HP Outboard

Internet tells me top speed is 44 to 46 and that is usually loaded light with one person so your speeds seem in line hand prob not foam soaked.

Inspecting 2002 Tracker 125 HP Outboard

An outboard, fiberglass boat should never, ever be 'surprisingly' dry. Should always be dry. Riveted aluminum maybe but boats should be dry.

How do I get that last inch?

Sorry my dixelia gets to me especially on the weekends with some wine. I will clarify another day but winch needs to be raised and the eye needs to be below the stop.

How do I get that last inch?

I can imagine that, on any trailer I've ever owed. And I would not leave alone, needs to be properly secured.

How do I get that last inch?

I'd prefer to have the eye below the stop as an extra stop if needed. Too low and it will help launch in a sudden stop and stern straps won't help that.

Inspecting 2002 Tracker 125 HP Outboard

Tracker was both once and mercury. Johnny Morris got pissed at one because they did not want to put tracker on the motor so for a couple few years he switched to the other, then went back when they decided I was OK. Check oil after running on muffs. Checking first can have the oil water...

    1994 mariner 115, oil injection

The injection debate has raged on since the internet was born. I am zero help with your question(s) but I am a fan of simplicity. The less stuff to go wrong will result in less stuff going wrong. Im going to look at a 74 Ford truck today. Disconnect the oil and premium is my 1.25 cents...

How do I get that last inch?

The internet will tell you your current set up keeps bow from bouncing which if you can get all the way to the stop. I solve that problem with a 5 buck tie down straps from harbor freight. Winch tight, bow eye to tongue with strap. Dad taught me that back in the 60s.

How do I get that last inch?

First, raise winch on the pole. The force as set is pulling the bow harder on the trailer the closer it gets to the bow stop becuase it is too low. The strap needs to completely clear the bow stop and best to be pulling ever so slightly upwards. Spray bunks or get bunk sticks if still...
